Exclusive Timorous Beasties Toiletastic Tea Towel

Introducing ‘Toiletastic,’ a design by Timorous Beasties commissioned for the Textiles: The Art of Mankind exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum. Celebrating the exhibition's theme of exploring the ancient and deep entanglement between textiles, people, and our world, the design is inspired by Timorous Beasties' iconic Toile design.

The design celebrates the diversity and history of textiles. Silkworms, threads and webs (la toile in French) nestle amid ropes, as do baskets, arrows and elephants; the latter, with exotic plants, hint at global trade.
