Led by creative pattern maker Michelle Lewis participants will cover the basic rules of flat pattern cutting.

Silk Painting Workshop

Led by Hilary Simon, in this workshop students will learn the techniques of painting on silk with a gutta gum line applied as a resist.

** The fee includes silk and equipment used during the workshop. Should participants wish to acquire additional silk squares these will be available to purchase in cash on the day. Also bring a bag or envelope to take your work home with you**

Experimental Screen Printing

In this one day Screen Printing workshop printers will experiment with a range of textile inks such as printing with specialist binders, puff, metallic and pearl onto fabric.

In this hands on one-day workshop, students will experiment with sublimation and flocking printing techniques using a heat press. 

Join us for a 3 day workshop for Young Designers, the sessions will be jam packed and full of exciting and experiential processes and techniques. Participants will take inspiration from the current exhibition ‘Andy Warhol: The Textiles’ and create a body of work that could be used for your portfolios, sketchbook work and independent projects.
